OVERVIEW

NGX Power Auctions are auctions for electricity contracts conducted separately from NGX's continuous power markets. The NGX Power Auction System held its first auction in February 2006. Since then we have conducted over thirty power auctions, both bilateral and fully cleared. This includes auctions for the Ontario Power Authority, Enmax, EPCOR, as well as our own cleared Ontario power auctions.
