Traders may access WebICE from any Windows PC with a supported browser installed. In the event that a trader cannot access the Trading Platform in this way he or she may call the NGX Help Desk at (403) 974-4357(HELP) to conduct a trade for them. After receiving a call:
  1. The NGX Market Operator logs on to WebICE using the ID and password supplied by an authorized trader. A trader will not be logged on without providing the password.

  2. The trader verbally instructs the Operator to input an order. All limits and permissioning restrictions will still be in effect.

  3. The NGX Market Operator confirms the order details with the trader over a recorded telephone line, before releasing to the market.

  4. The order and/or trade confirmation message that appears after release are read to the trader over a recorded telephone line.
